World Language Initiative- MT

The World Language Initiative (WLI) is excited to offer an after-school German Language & Culture class at Irving Elementary School with a focus on building a lifelong affinity for world languages and cultures through dynamic and immersive Communicative Language teaching models.

• Small-group model of no more than 12 students
• Classes are held at Irving Elementary School
• Classes run for 12 weeks in the spring.
• There will be no classes the week of March 11 (Spring Break)
• Classes need 7 students (minimum) in order to run. If a class does not reach at least 7 sign-ups, the class will be canceled and you will be issued a refund
• Your child’s Language Coach will email you 1 week prior to your class start date with more details and information
• If you foresee any problems with picking your child up promptly at 4:20, please enroll in the After School Kids Link Program so that your child can be released to that program after class.
• Refund Policy: The World Language Initiative-MT will offer FULL REFUNDS for classes if the request is made 2 weeks or more before the class start date. Between 2 weeks and 1 week prior to the class start date, you will receive a 50% REFUND. Less than one week prior to the class start date, NO REFUNDS will be made available.
